Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal, February 28, 2003 - The Montreal Alouettes are obviously a well-respected football team on the field but the organization's ranking as the 18th most admired business in Quebec confirms that the organization has a great reputation in the province's business community as well. This was the good news received from the March edition of Commerce Magazine, one of Quebec's leading publications.
"This ranking is the result of years of hard work by our entire organization," said President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ellis Prince. "We also realize that our success on the field is a major factor for our enviable image. We will continue to concentrate our efforts at building a winning team both on and off the field as a proud representative of a proud province."
The Alouettes showed the best improvement of all Quebec businesses since 2002 with a 22% increase in their "indice Commerce," a measuring tool created by Commerce Magazine. According to the magazine's survey, 81% of the Quebecers have a good opinion of the organization while only 4% have a bad opinion.
