Riders Acquire Bell from Edmonton

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they have acquired non-import fullback Graeme Bell from the Edmonton Eskimos in exchange for the Riders sixth round (46th overall) selection in today's CFL Canadian Draft.

Bell (5'11- 229 lbs) has spent the last two seasons with the Eskimos. He signed as a free agent with the team in February, 2009 after spending his first three CFL seasons in Winnipeg with the Blue Bombers. The Saskatchewan product has played a total of 64 games in his career at fullback and as a dominant presence on special teams.

Bell is now the 11th Saskatchewan born player on the Rider roster.
