Riders Select Butler with First Pick of The Day

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce they have selected defensive back Craig Butler from Western Ontario with their first pick in today's CFL Canadian Draft. He was selected by the Green and White in the second round (12th overall).

Butler (6'2 - 194 lbs) has played the last four seasons for the Mustangs and was named an All-Canadian in his senior year. In 2010, he was tied for the OUA lead with five interceptions and led Western Ontario with 46.5 defensive tackles. The 22-year-old hails from London, Ontario.
