Metairie, LA - The Zephyrs fell again to the visiting Omaha Royals by a score of 7-4, the Z's third loss in a row.
Outfielders Aaron Guiel and Matt Diaz both went yard for the Royals, putting a combined six runs on the board.
Omaha starting pitcher Kyle Snyder (2-2) evened his record, get a win after allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits in 6.1 innings of play.
Zephyrs starter David Gil (1-3) recorded the loss. Gil gave up five runs on three hits in 4.2 innings.
Zephyrs first baseman Rick Short went 2-4 in the game. He is currently at .399 in his quest to hit .400 for the season. If successful, Short would be the first pro baseball player to hit .400 since 1961.
