TONIGHT: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Reading Phillies will meet in game three of a four-game series...The R-Phils capped a rally from a 4-0 deficit with a three-run run homer off the bat of Tuffy Gosewisch in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to a 7-5 win over the Flying Squirrels on Friday night in front of 7,655 fans at FirstEnergy Stadium.

BULLIED PEN: The Flying Squirrels' bullpen surrendered four runs, three earned, in three innings of work last night at Reading...It was the most runs allowed by the club's bullpen since allowing five runs, two earned, in a 12-4 loss against Bowie 6/19...It was the first loss suffered by a member of the team's bullpen since right-hander Osiris Matos took the loss in a 3-2 defeat at Bowie 6/1... With the exception of right-hander Daryl Maday allowing three runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings in the completion of the suspended game against Harrisburg 6/28, Richmond's bullpen did not allow any runs over eight games spanning 21 1/3 innings...The club's relievers allowed 11 hits over that span while striking out 23 batters and walking four.
GEORGIA PEACH: Second baseman Charlie Culberson went 3-for-5 last night with a double, recording his sixth three-hit game of the season...It was also his 21st multi-hit game of the season, tying Roger Kieschnick for the team lead...Culberson has hits in six straight games, his fifth hit streak of five games or more...The 22-year-old is batting .560 (14-for-25) with a double, a home run, three RBIs, and five runs scored over that stretch while striking out four times and walking once...He has raised his average from .248 to .264 over his last six contests...The Georgia native hit just .217 (23-for-106) in 26 games in June, striking out 28 times and walking five...Eight of his 23 hits went for extra bases including three doubles, a triple, and four home runs.
FEELS LIKE THE FIRST TIME: Outfielder Francisco Peguero went 3-for-4 last night including his first Double-A home run as he drove in three runs and scored twice...It was the fourth time this season that a Richmond batter collected at least three hits and three RBIs in a game (Johnny Monell 5/12 vs. HAR, Ryan Lormand 6/5 vs. REA, and Chris Dominguez 6/26 vs. ERI)...In his first eight games with the Flying Squirrels, the 23-year-old is batting .333 (11-for-33) with a triple, a home run, six RBIs and eight runs scored.
PITCHING IN: The Flying Squirrels pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 2.95 ERA through 78 games and has allowed a league-low 274 runs...Richmond's pitching staff has allowed two runs or less in 30 of its 78 games (38%)...The club's 2.95 ERA is also the lowest of all of the full-season MiLB teams.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME: The Flying Squirrels have begun a stretch where they will play 20 out of 27 games at home including a doubleheader against Harrisburg 7/9...The club is 26-15 at home and is batting .254 in 41 games at The Diamond while averaging 4.66 runs per game at home (191R/41G)...Overall, the club is 15-22 on the road, and is batting .208 and averaging 3.32 runs per game (123R/37G) in 37 road contests.
