TODAY: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Reading Phillies will meet in the finale of a three-game series...The Flying Squirrels rallied from an early three-run deficit; however, Mike Spidale¡¦s two-out, solo home run in the bottom of the eighth helped lift the R-Phils to a 4-3 win in game two of the series on Saturday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.
TODAY¡¦S STARTERS: Right-hander Daryl Maday gets the start in game three of the series for the Flying Squirrels...

NO SHOCKER: Third baseman Conor Gillaspie is hitting .370 (10-for-27) over his last seven games after being left out of the starting line up on consecutive days (5/13, 5/14) against Altoona...The 22-year-old has two doubles, a triple, four RBI, and four runs scored over his last seven games...He has struck out just twice and has walked once...The former first-round pick out of Wichita State is also 4-for-6 with runners in scoring position over that span with three RBI...His average has climbed from .198 to .231.
SOMETHING BRUIN: Shortstop Brandon Crawford is 9-for-24 (.375) with hits in six of his last seven games including each of the last five...He has a double, a triple, a home run, three RBI, and five runs scored over his last seven contests...The UCLA product has also walked six times and struck out four times over that span and has seen his average rise from .225 to .252.
BURNT KIESCH-NICK: Outfielder Roger Kieschnick is 0-for-28 over his last seven games since seeing his five-game hit streak come to an end...He has struck out five times and has walked once over that span...The 23-year-old seen his average dip from .306 to .248...Kieschnick was 8-for-15 (.533) over his five-game hitting streak with three home runs, nine RBI, and three runs scored.
ERROR MESSAGE: The Flying Squirrels ended their string of games with at least one error last night...The club had previously committed 10 errors in five games including a season-high five errors in the game last Sunday against Altoona...It was the first time this season that Richmond has committed an error in five straight games...The club has slipped from first to third in fielding percentage (.983) and in errors committed (28).
MAKING THEIR PITCH: The Flying Squirrels¡¦ pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 2.99 ERA...The club has also allowed an Eastern League-low 138 runs...Richmond pitching leads the Eastern League with six shutouts.
DOUBLETREE DOWNTOWN DOUBLE PLAYS: The Richmond Flying Squirrels have turned 52 double plays in their first 42 games including six on 5/7 in Harrisburg...The club leads the Eastern League in double plays turned and has not gone more than two games without turning a double play.
CFS STAT OF THE NIGHT: Last night¡¦s contest lasted just 2:16 and was the shortest nine-inning contest for the Flying Squirrels this season...The shortest game overall this season was 1:35 in game two of a double header at New Britain 4/27.
