RHP Tyler Thornburg to Start for Brewers Tonight

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Brewers have selected RHP Tyler Thornburg to start tonight against the Toronto Blue Jays in Milwaukee. The 23-year-old is the first Huntsville Stars player from the 2012 starting roster to make it to "The Show."
Thornburg was selected as a 2012 Southern League All-Star after going 8-1 with a 3.00 ERA in 13 starts for the Stars this season. In 75 innings, he struck out 71 batters while allowing just 24 walks.
There is no corresponding move at this time. This puts the Stars active roster at 24, one below the Southern League limit.
