
RHP Tim Bascom Transferred to Bowie

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a pair of roster moves today. RHP Tim Bascom was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Frederick, and LHP Rick Zagone was transferred to class Single-A Frederick. With the moves, the Baysox have 23 active players on their 24-man roster.
Bascom has pitched in six games for the Baysox this season, including two starts. He is 2-1 with a 5.40 ERA over 20.0 innings of work with three walks and 22 strikeouts. He started one game in Frederick, going 1-0 after throwing 6.0 shutout innings.
Zagone has pitched in six games for Bowie, including four starts. The left-hander is 1-2 with a 5.76 ERA over 25.0 innings, with five walks and 16 strikeouts.
