RHP Scarpetta to DL; RHP Henderson to Huntsville

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Milwaukee Brewers have made a pair of roster moves that will impact their Double-A affiliate Huntsville Stars prior to tonight's game at Jackson. RHP Cody Scarpetta has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to August 11. RHP Jim Henderson has been transferred to Huntsville from Nashville.

Scarpetta is 8-5 with a 3.91 ERA in 22 starts with the Stars. He has kept opponents to a .237 average, fourth lowest in the Southern League. In 112.2 innings of work, the right-hander has struck out 96 batters and allowed 59 walks. His last outing was on August 6 against Tennessee. He went 5.2 innings, giving up just two hits, walking four and striking out four.

Henderson rejoins the Huntsville roster after going 3-1 with a 5.93 ERA in 20 appearances for Nashville. He was with the Stars for 16 games, going 3-1 with a 3.15 ERA. He converted five of five save opportunities, while keeping opponents to a .208 average.

With these moves, the Stars active roster stays at 24 with three on the DL.

The Stars continue a ten-game road trip with game three of five against the Jackson Generals (Double-A Seattle Mariners) tonight.
