
RHP Luis Ledo activated off the injured list

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Luis Ledo activated off the injured list
- LHP Bennett Sousa promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
Before hitting the injured list, Ledo had posted a 1.96 ERA through 31 appearances with the Dash. A Midseason Carolina League All-Star, the right-hander is doing even better in the second half, yielding an 0.56 ERA in 11 second-half appearances.
Sousa earns his first promotion to Double-A Birmingham. A 10th round pick out of Virginia last year, the left-hander yielded a 2.70 ERA through 20 appearances in the Dash purple.
The Dash's current active roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, with six players on the injured list and one on a major league rehab assignment.
