Round Rock Express News Release

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced Monday that RHP Josh Lindblom has been recalled to Arlington and, in a corresponding move, RHP Nick McBride has been assigned to the Express from Myrtle Beach (A-Advanced).

Lindblom was 4-0 with a 2.08 ERA in eight games (seven starts) with the Express. The right-hander had posted quality starts in three of his last four outings at Triple-A including eight shutout innings at Iowa on May 1, his last win. He received no-decisions in each of his last two starts despite allowing just five earned runs over 11.2 innings (3.86 ERA). He is the probable pitcher to start tonight's game against the Oakland Athletics.

To fill the spot vacated by Lindblom, right-hander Nick McBride has been assigned to the Round Rock roster and will wear #58. He went 0-2 with a 1.96 ERA in 12 games (23.0 innings) with the Pelicans in 2013.

The Express continues an eight-game homestand with the series opener against the Reno Aces tonight at 7:05 p.m. RHP Jake Brigham (0-1, 16.71 ERA) will take the ball for the E-Train to be opposed by Chase Anderson (3-4, 5.52 ERA) of the Aces. It will also be $1.00 hot dogs and sodas at Dell Diamond, presented by Mrs Baird's as well as Tyson Foods night.
