The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that RHP Evan Crawford has been placed on the disabled list. In a corresponding move, RHP Bryan Blough has been promoted from Class A Winston-Salem. Roster at 25.
Blough, 24, went 1-2 with a 1.93 ERA (4 ER/18.2 IP) in 13 games (one start) with the Dash this season. In 2013, he went 11-11 with a 3.81 ERA (73 ER/172.2 IP) while leading the Carolina League in starts (28), IP and tying for the league lead in wins and complete games (3).
