
Drew Gagnon Named SL Pitcher of the Week

(Huntsville, AL) - The Southern League has named Stars starting pitcher Drew Gagnon the Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 12-18.
In a 4-2 win against the Birmingham Barons on May 16th, Gagnon pitched 7 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five batters. With the win, Gagnon's record improved to 4-1 and his ERA sits at 2.36 for the season.
This is the second consecutive week that a Stars pitcher has earned the award after fellow starter Tyler Cravy won it last week. As a whole, the Stars pitching staff has compiled an ERA of 2.80 for the season, trailing only Mobile in the Southern League.
