RHP Blake Bivens Transferred to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays announced on Thursday that RHP Blake Bivens has been transferred to the Biscuits from A+ Charlotte.
Bivens, 22, has made 10 starts and two relief appearances for the Stone Crabs, compiling a 6-4 record with a 2.83 ERA. The Virginia native is scheduled to make his first Double-A start on Saturday, August 4th, against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 24.
