
RGV Vipers Acquire Darius Morris

Edinburg, Texas, March 21, 2018 - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, has announced that the team has reacquired guard Darius Morris.
Darius Morris returns to the RGV Vipers after also playing for them in previous seasons. Morris first signed with the Vipers on March 17, 2014 and then reacquired by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on March 29, 2016. During the 2016-17 NBA G League Season, Morris averaged 20.02 points, 6.43 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in the 47 games played with the Vipers.
Most recently, Darius Morris had a stint with the Guangdong Southern Tigers. Morris has suited up for various NBA teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and the Brooklyn Nets.
In order to reacquire Darius Morris, the Vipers waived Tony Wroten to open up a roster spot.
