
Reynaert earns league, team honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder veteran goaltender Jeff Reynaert has been named the United Hockey League "Goalie of the Week" and the Lone Star Restaurant "Player of the Week" for his performance in two games last week.
Reynaert snapped a personal six-game losing streak and the PrairieThunder's nine-game losing streak with a 2-1 shootout victory over Rockford on Thursday by saving 18 of 19 shots.
He followed that performance with a second straight triumph, 7-2, over Chicago by saving 36 of 38 shots on Saturday. For the week, he had 54 saves on 57 attempts to hike his season record to 7-14.
The PrairieThunder plays again Friday in a 7 p.m. Western Conference game against Quad City at Moline. Bloomington returns home for games Saturday and Sunday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum against Port Huron and Quad City.
The Saturday game begins at 7:05 p.m. and the Sunday game at 4:05 p.m. Tickets are available for all PrairieThunder games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office, 101 S. Madison, Bloomington or online at www.uscellularcoliseum.com
The box office is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m Monday through Friday. It will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
