The Rockford IceHogs split six points to open the 2007 calendar year during Week 13. After taking three of four points from Bloomington, the Hogs dropped a home contest to Kalamazoo. This week features three more home game for the Hogs as they wrap up a season-long five-game homestand.

-Rockford goalie Brenden Cuthbert was traded to the Chicago Hounds for cash considerations on Sunday, Jan. 7
-Rockford goalie Jake Moreland was activated from the 7-Day Injured Reserve on Saturday, Jan. 6
-Rockford goalie Frederic Cloutier was loaned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) on Saturday, Jan. 6
-Rockford winger Jesse Bennefield was activated from Team Suspension on Thursday, Jan. 4
-Rockford winger Paul Brown was assigned to Rockford from Milwaukee (AHL) on Thursday, Jan. 4
-Rockford winger Jason Ralph was placed on Team Suspension on Thursday, Jan. 4

Goaltender Brenden Cuthbert was traded to the Chicago Hounds for cash considerations on Sunday.
Center Mike Doyle scored his team-leading third game-winning goal of the season on Friday night against Bloomington.
Doyle has five points in his last four games (2g-3a-5pts).
Rockford is in the middle of a season-long five-game homestand.
After the Hogs three home games this week, Rockford will play seven of its next nine and 18 of the next 26 overall away from the Rockford MetroCentre.
The IceHogs are 7-3-1 against the Western Conference on the road thus far this season and 7-5-2 at home.
Rockford has allowed eight short-handed goals this season through 34 games. In the previous two seasons (156 games), the IceHogs allowed 15 shorties.
The Hogs are just 3-for-41 (7.3%) on the power play over its last seven games.
Defenseman Nathan Lutz has a point in seven of his last 10 games totaling 3g-5a-8pts.
Hot Hog Week 13:
Center Mike Doyle came up big for the IceHogs in Week 13. Doyle chipped in two goals and two assists for the IceHogs and the centerman netted his team-leading third game-winning goal on Friday against Bloomington. Doyle accumulated a goal and two assists in that contest.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, Jan. 10 vs. Fort Wayne Komets. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. The Hogs and Komets match-up for the final time at the Rockford MetroCentre during the regular season on Wednesday. Wednesday means another Dollar Days at the MetroCentre with the IceHogs and WXRX, FM 104.9. Fans can purchase regular size soft drinks, hot dogs, peanuts and select candy items for just $1.
Friday, Jan. 12 vs. Port Huron Flags. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The IceHogs celebrate Hammy's birthday on Friday night as the club welcomes back the Milwaukee Brewers Sausages! Also coming to the MetroCentre to help celebrate Hammy's B-Day include the Chicago Bears Staley, White Sox Southpaw, Blackhawks Tommy Hawk, Milwaukee Admirals Roscoe and many more!
Saturday, Jan. 13 vs. Quad City Mallards. The rivalry resumes at 7:05 p.m. Rockford and Quad City clash at the Rockford MetroCentre once again. Saturday is one of the IceHogs most popular giveaway nights as Wireless One and WXRX, 104.9 FM and WIFR present Hat Night for the first 1,000 fans to the MetroCentre.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all IceHogs Regular and Post Season games on Rockford's Voice, WNTA-AM 1330. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with the B2 Networks! Once again this season, ESPN"ËRadio "The Jock" 1380 AM will broadcast 20 Hogs games during the regular season. Check your local listings for game times and dates. Also, fans with Insight Cable television can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action this season. The broadcast begins with the Pregame Show 30 minutes before the puck drops. HogTalk Returns This Week At Shooter's North:
Bud Light HogTalk returns this week at Shooter's North. The show is hosted by WXRX's Jim Stone and Double T and tonight will feature IceHogs skaters Bryce Cockburn and Jake Moreland. The show runs from 7-8 p.m. and also features IceHogs Head Coach Steve Martinson. Come on out and talk IceHogs hockey and take advantage of some Bud Light specials at Shooter's North.
