FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - New England Revolution Homegrown Player Zachary Herivaux (Brookline, Mass.) and the Haiti National Team are set to square off with Concacaf power Mexico in the 2019 Gold Cup Semifinal on Tuesday evening. The match at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona kicks off at 10:30 p.m. ET, televised nationally on FS1 and Univision.

Herivaux has been a key part of Haiti's historic run in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, featuring in three of the nation's four games thus far. The Revolution Academy product made two starts in Les Grenadiers' perfect 3-0-0 group stage, leading to the Caribbean nation's first ever group victory in the tournament. In the Quarterfinal Round, Herivaux appeared off the bench as Haiti surged from two goals behind to upset Canada, 3-2, to earn its first ever berth in the tournament's final four.

Haiti's opponent is one of Concacaf's perennial powers, as Mexico is competing in its seventh consecutive semifinal in search of its first Gold Cup trophy since 2015. Led by former Atlanta United manager Gerardo "Tata" Martino, Mexico won Group A with nine points and topped Costa Rica in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in the Quarterfinals on June 29. On the other side of the bracket, the defending Gold Cup champion United States Men's National Team will face Jamaica in Nashville, Tenn. on July 3. The Gold Cup Final is scheduled for Sunday, July 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Herivaux, 23, has earned 11 senior caps with Haiti after previously representing the team at the Under-20 and Under-23 levels. He made his full senior debut against Japan in October 2017, featured against Argentina in May 2018, and made three appearances in 2019/20 Concacaf Nations League qualifying, which helped secure the side's spot in the Gold Cup. In his five professional seasons, Herivaux owns 10 MLS appearances, with two starts, and has seen extensive action at the USL level on loan with Birmingham Legion FC and San Antonio FC.

Born in Osaka, Japan, Herivaux was raised in Brookline, Mass. and attended Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Before signing as the Revolution's third ever Homegrown Player in May 2015, he played four seasons in the club's academy and was named the inaugural UnitedHealthcare Academy Player of the Year in 2014.
