TACOMA, Wash. - The Tacoma Rainiers (32-26) dropped their third straight against the Reno Aces (38-22) Monday afternoon at Cheney Stadium, losing 6-3.

Aces first baseman Christian Walker hit a three run home run over the left field fence in the top of the sixth, tying the game up at 3-3. Walker homered off of Tacoma starter Rob Whalen, who gave up three earned runs through six inning on the mound, striking out six.

Reno then took the lead in the top of the eighth after Walker, center fielder Socrates Brito, and third baseman Carlos Rivera drove in a run each, giving the Aces a 6-3 lead.

Reno added on in the ninth inning with a two run home run from Ildemaro Vargas, giving the visitors a five-run cushion at 8-3, which would hold as the final score.
