Since May 24: Infielder Jamie Romak has been one of baseball's best hitters since May 24. He is batting .367 (54-for-147) with 17 doubles, 3 triples, 12 homers and 45 RBI since that date. During the stretch, he leads all Minor Leaguers in total bases (113), RBI, homers (T-1st) and extra-base hits (32). He is also tied for second in doubles and tied for seventh in hits during that time period. His 45 ribbies rank second to only Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado (47).

Doing Damage: Nearly half (49%, 44-of-89) of Romak's hits this year have gone for extra bases. He has 25 doubles, 3 triples and 16 home runs, ranking ahead of Peter O'Brien (37) and Nick Evans (35) for the most extra-base hits on the team. His 168 total bases also ranks No. 1 among all batters in the PCL, two ahead of Tacoma's Jesus Montero.
