From the Notes

Freeman Rolling: Mike Freeman has been on a tear at the plate recently, reaching base via hit in seven straight games. During the stretch, he's hit .469 (15-for-32) with 4 RBI, 8 runs scored, 1 double, 1 triple, 3 walks and 1 stolen base. Over his last four games, Freeman has collected 12 hits in 18 at-bats, including a stretch where he reached base safely via hit or walk in 11 straight plate appearances.

What Time Is It?: The 4-hour and 41-minute game time last night was the second-longest in Aces history. The 15-inning marathon fell 18 minutes shy of the longest game in team history, a 4-hour and 59-minute, 13-inning game at Memphis on May 8, 2012. Reno won that contest over the Redbirds, 9-8.

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK: Five Aces pitchers combined to strike out 16 Oklahoma City batters last night, Reno's highest strikeout total by the pitching staff this season. They had previously struck out 14 batters in a game on two separate occasions, most recently on August 11 against Salt Lake at Aces Ballpark. Kaleb Fleck also matched a career-high by striking out five batters in relief, done two other times, most recently on August 10, 2014 against Double-A Tennessee.

Extra-Inning Woes: Last night's 15-inning loss dropped the Aces to a PCL-worst 1-7 record in extra-inning games. Reno is also 0-4 in extras during the month of August. Memphis has the second-worst extra-inning record, going 2-4 in six games.

15 Innings: The Aces matched their longest game (innings) in franchise history last night, playing 15 innings for the third time. Reno last played 15 innings on April 6, 2013 at Colorado Springs, a 3-2 loss to the Sky Sox. They also went 15 innings on August 27, 2011 at Tucson, a 4-3 loss to the Padres.

Late Leads: The Aces' loss last night dropped their record to 47-5 when leading after eight innings this season. The five losses when holding a lead through eight innings are the most of any team in the PCL.
