Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - The Atlanta Braves made a pair of moves today that affect Mississippi's roster. LHP Bryan Dumesnil was released from the Atlanta Braves organization and RHP Craig Kimbrel was promoted to AA Mississippi from High-A Myrtle Beach.
Kimbrel was selected as the 10th-best prospect in the Braves' organization by Baseball America prior to the 2009 season. He was 0-2 with two saves and a 5.47 ERA in Myrtle Beach and he collected 10 saves with a 0.90 ERA in Rome this year.
Mississippi's roster now has 24 active players with one player on the disabled list.
