Reign Roster Continues to Move Up

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announce that left winger, Chris Cloud, has been called up to the AHL's Manchester Monarchs for the first time in his professional career.

Cloud, 23, leads the Reign and is eighth in the league for penalty minutes with 84. Playing in all 22 games this season, Cloud has recorded ten points (5g, 5a) with the Reign.

The Waywayseecappo, Manitoba native signed with the Reign in September 2011 prior to the start of the 2011-12 season. The forward joined the team from the CHL's Bloomington PrairieThunder where he recorded 13 points (2g, 11a) and 103 penalty minutes in 53 games. Cloud had an eight game stint with the CHL's Tulsa Oilers where he posted 25 penalty minutes.

Cloud's first appearance in the ECHL was briefly spent with the Wheeling Nailers for three games during the 2009-10 season. The left winger finished the season in the CHL with the Amarillo Gorillas where he recorded 21 points (8g, 13a) and 102 penalty minutes in 56 games.

Reign Drops: The next Reign home game is Wednesday, Dec. 14 against the Bakersfield Condors; the puck drops at 7:00 p.m. The Reign is 3-1-0-0 against the Condors so far this season.
