Reign FC Preseason Roster Update

Seattle Reign FC News Release


SEATTLE (March 17, 2014) - Seattle Reign FC announced today the club's upcoming training schedule for the week of March 17 through March 23.

Today marks the debut of forward Sydney Leroux along with the return of goalkeeper Hope Solo, defender Steph Cox, forward Megan Rapinoe and midfielder Jess Fishlock. Canadian National Team defender Carmelina Moscato, Scottish international midfielder Kim Little and Nahomi Kawasumi, the Japanese League MVP in 2013, are expected to join the team by Friday, March 21.

As per league rules, the Reign FC roster was trimmed to comply with the 25-player roster limit. Players departing training camp include:

Tori Adame, Nicolette DiGiacomo, Monique Escelara, Tesa McKibben, and Nikki Stanton.

Goalkeepers: Jamie Arthurs*, Haley Kopmeyer, and Hope Solo

Midfielders: Jess Fishlock, Dani Foxhoven, Macy Jo Harrison*, Mariah Nogueira, Megan Rapinoe, Julia Roberts*, and Keelin Winters

Forwards: Bev Goebel, Sydney Leroux, Ellen Parker*, Lyndsey Patterson*, and Megan Rapinoe
