WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, lost 3-2 in overtime to the Utah Grizzlies before 8,350 at the Maverik Center on Friday night.

The Reign took a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal by Dusty Collins at 5:32 of the second period, as he one-timed a pass from Alex Bourret past Andrew Engelage. David Walker also had an assist. Shawn Collymore slapped a long rebound into the net for his team-leading 12th goal of the season and a 2-0 Ontario lead. It was his fourth goal in as many games.

But the Grizzlies clawed their way back. Utah halved Ontario's lead with a goal by Marcus Carrol at 12:10 of the second period, sent the game into overtime with a goal by Matt Clarke at 16:03 of the third period, and won it on Hugo Carpentier's wrist shot at 2:09 of the extra frame.

Beau Erickson made 36 saves in the loss, while Engelage saved 37 for the win.
