
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #392, Bakersfield at Alaska, on Jan. 28.
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Erick Lizon has been suspended for nine games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Lizon is suspended for seven games as a result of his actions in which he was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.3, a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation and a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 - Abuse of Officials at 20:00 of the third period. He is also suspended two games as a result of his actions in the first period. Lizon will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s games at Alaska (Jan. 29 and 30), vs. Ontario (Feb. 4), at Ontario (Feb. 5), at Idaho (Feb. 9, 11 and 12), vs. Victoria (Feb. 15) and vs. Ontario (Feb. 18).
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Vyacheslav Trukhno has been suspended for two games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Trukhno was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.3 at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s games at Alaska on Jan. 29 and 30.
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Joey Ryan has been suspended for two games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Ryan was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.3, as well as a misconduct for inciting under Rule #75.4 at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s games at Alaska on Jan. 29 and 30.
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Joe Rullier has been suspended for three games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Rullier is suspended two games as a result of his actions in which he received an elbowing major at 13:56 of the third period and he is suspended one game as a result of being assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s games at Alaska on Jan. 29 and 30 and vs. Ontario on Feb. 4.
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Joel Broda has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Broda was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s game at Alaska on Jan. 30.
Bakersfield ¬â¢s Guillaume Lefebvre has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Lefebvre was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s game at Alaska on Jan. 29.
Bakersfield coach Marty Raymond has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Raymond will miss Bakersfield ¬â¢s game at Alaska on Jan. 29.
The Bakersfield organization has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #70.10 - Leaving the Bench, as well as under Rule #46.19 - Fighting other than during the periods of the game.
Alaska ¬â¢s Alex Dzielski has been suspended for six games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Dzielski was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.1, as well as a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Alaska ¬â¢s games vs. Bakersfield (Jan. 29 and 30), at Victoria (Feb. 2, 4 and 5) and vs. Stockton (Feb. 11).
Alaska ¬â¢s Scott Burt has been suspended for three games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Burt was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.3, as well as a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Secondary Altercation at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Alaska ¬â¢s games vs. Bakersfield (Jan. 29 and 30) and at Victoria (Feb. 2).
Alaska ¬â¢s Chris Langkow has been suspended for two games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Langkow was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench under Rule #70.3 at 20:00 of the third period. He will miss Alaska ¬â¢s games against Bakersfield on Jan. 29 and 30.
Alaska coach Brent Thompson has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Thompson will miss Alaska ¬â¢s game against Bakersfield on Jan. 29.
The Alaska organization has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #70.10 - Leaving the Bench, as well as under Rule #46.19 - Fighting other than during the periods of the game.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ¬â¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ¬â¢s Hardship Fund.
