
Reign Add Gron from Worcester; Brace Recalled from Iowa

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that Tyler Gron has been loaned to the Reign from Worcester and Riley Brace has been recalled to Iowa.
Gron, 24, joins the Reign after splitting the beginning of the 2013-14 season between San Francisco Bulls and Worcester Sharks for 18, and 14 games, respectively. He earned 24 points (14g, 10a) with the Bulls.
The center earned Rookie of the Month honors while playing with the Idaho Steelheads last season and saw time in 17 playoff games where he earned 13 points (8g, 5a). Gron went to the Steelheads after starting his rookie campaign with the Bloomington Blaze of the Central Hockey League for 31 games where he posted 35 points (21g, 14a).
In 2011-12, the Spruce Grove, Alberta native graduated from Northern Michigan University and made his pro debut with Bridgeport (AHL) for three games scoring his first pro point, an assist.
Brace, 21, played five games with the Reign since joining the team in late January. In that time he has earned four points (3g, 1a) two of those goals came in his Reign debut against Colorado on Jan. 29. Brace made his professional debut with Worcester last season playing eight games and earning six points (3g, 3a). This season, Brace has posted three assists with Worcester in 24 games played.
