Peterborough Petes News Release
(Peterborough, ON, November 17, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are pleased to announce that the 9th annual Holiday Fun Camp will take place between December 29th and 30th, 2014 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Registration for the camp has officially opened.
Participants will receive three total hours of on-ice instruction from Petes' Assistant Coach and Head Camp Instructor Paul Mattucci, a special edition camp jersey, one Sun Life Financial Family Zone ticket for the Petes' home game against Mississauga on January 1st, a Certificate of Participation, dressing room tour, a Petes grab bag, and Petes player photo and autograph cards. Additionally, six Petes players - including both goalies and skaters - will assist Coach Mattucci as instructors.
Participants have the choice of participating in one of two sessions each day, with the first running from 9:00-10:30am and the second running from 10:45am-12:15pm. Registrants must participate in the same session each day. The Holiday Fun Camp is limited to the first sixty registrants between the ages of five and twelve years old.
"The camp is designed to teach children aged 5-12 the fundamentals of hockey in a fun environment," said Petes' Director of Sales, Marketing, and Advertising, Aaron Garfat. "An emphasis will be placed on skills; however, our main goal is making sure all participants have fun."
Again this year there will be an early-bird special price of $99.99 including taxes for all participants paying before December 19th. After December 19th, the price will increase to $149.99 including taxes. Parents can register their children in the Petes Office or by contacting Petes' Marketing Assistant/Community Events Coordinator Matt D'Agostini at mdagostini@gopetesgo.com or 705-743-3681 ext. 257.
