Sudbury Wolves News Release
The Sudbury Wolves will face five of the top teams in the OHL in their next six games beginning this week with they play a home-and-home pair of games against the first-place North Bay Battalion. The Wolves will travel to North Bay on Thursday before returning home on Friday to face the defending OHL finalists.
On Friday, November 28th, the Wolves will host the defending OHL Champion Guelph Storm. The Storm are led in scoring by Robbie Fabbri. The Wolves will travel to Barrie on Saturday, November 29th to face the second-place Barrie Colts. The Colts are right on the heels of the first-place Battalion.
The Wolves return home on Sunday, November 30th to face the top-ranked team in the Western Conference - the Soo Greyhounds. Game time is 2 o'clock at the Sudbury Arena. The Greyhounds are rated as the top challenger to the Erie Otters in the West and the Hounds have defeated the Wolves in all three meetings so far this season.
The Wolves will wrap-up the difficult six-game run on Friday, December 5th when they host the #1 ranked team in the Eastern Conference - the Oshawa Generals. The Generals are led by Florida Panthers defenceman Josh Brown.
This is likely to be the most difficult part of the Wolves' schedule as they face five of the top contenders in the OHL in a six-game set over a period of 15 days.
