Reese and Poulin Returned to Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. ‚¬" (Jan. 27, 2011) ‚¬" The New York Islanders have announced that defenseman Dylan Reese and goaltender Kevin Poulin have been returned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Reese, 26, completes his third stint with the Islanders this season. The 6-1, 201-pound defenseman was recalled by the Islanders on Dec. 31 and appeared in 12 games, notching one assist and two penalty minutes. Poulin, 20, returns to the Sound Tigers following his first NHL call-up. The rookie netminder recorded his first NHL win in a 4-3 overtime victory over Colorado on Jan. 6, and in seven games the Montreal native shows a 2-2-1 record with a 2.59 goals against average and a .925 save percentage.
