Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks reached another milestone in the franchise's storied history as Nikki Rude of West Fargo, ND was the Three-Millionth Fan in RedHawks history on Tuesday night at Newman Outdoor Field.
Rude, who says she typically attends around ten RedHawks games a season, was attending her first game of 2012 on Tuesday when she became the lucky fan. Rude won a RedHawks gift package that included a pair of 2013 season tickets, a custom jersey, gift certificates and other prizes.
"It is a testament to the baseball fans of the region that we've been able to reach three million fans," said RedHawks President Bruce Thom. "We are very proud that we've become a part of the fabric of this community and region, and look forward to many more years of great baseball at Newman Outdoor Field."
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are in their 17th season of play. The organization was a member of the Northern League from 1996-2010 before joining the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball prior to the 2011 season.
