RedHawks Sign Alexander, Place Raglione on D.L.

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed LHP Tyler Alexander and placed RHP Paul Raglione on the seven-day disabled list, retroactive to June 2. Alexander will be in uniform this afternoon as the RedHawks complete a three-game series against the Laredo Lemurs at 1:00 p.m. at Newman Outdoor Field.

Alexander, 23, spent last season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Midwest League (A) and the Arizona Rookie League Brewers, both in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He appeared in 26 games (11 starts) between the two clubs and was 5-6 with a 4.82 ERA and three saves. In 80.1 innings pitched, Alexander allowed 60 runs (43 earned) on 94 hits. He struck out 94 batters and walked 41.

Alexander was selected by the Brewers in the 27th round of the 2013 draft out of Florida International University in Miami. In 96.0 career innings, he has struck out 121 batters.

Raglione, who is 0-0 with a 2.89 ERA in seven relief appearances this season, is eligible to come off the D.L. on June 9.
