Papillion, Neb. - Heavy rainstorms hit Werner Park in the bottom of the first inning during Saturday's game between the Oklahoma City RedHawks and the Omaha Storm Chasers, forcing the game to be suspended and completed at a later date.

The Storm Chasers took a 1-0 lead on an RBI double by Johnny Giavotella. Runners were at second and third with two outs and Chad Tracy at the plate when the umpires pulled the teams off the field.

No official date has been announced when the RedHawks and Storm Chasers will resume Saturday's game, but the game will be completed during the RedHawks next trip to Omaha, July 22-25.

The RedHawks and Storm Chasers will meet again Sunday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. Live coverage begins at 1:35 p.m. on AM 1340 "The Game," 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
