Tonight's Storm Chasers/RedHawks Game Suspended Due to Rain

OMAHA, Neb. - The third game of the series between the Omaha Storm Chasers (26-33) and the Oklahoma City RedHawks (33-26) was suspended tonight due to rain. The Storm Chasers were leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning with designated hitter Chad Tracy at the plate with a 2-0 count and runners on second and third base at the time of the suspension.

The game will be resumed during the RedHawks second visit to Werner Park on July 23rd at 4:05 p.m. After the completion of the suspended game, Omaha and Oklahoma City will play that day's scheduled game as a seven-inning contest.

In the series finale tomorrow at 2:05 p.m., the Storm Chasers send out left-hander Everett Teaford (2-1, 2.37 ERA) to face off with RedHawks righty Jarred Cosart (5-2, 3.07 ERA).
