RedHawks Open Trip in Vegas-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue an eight-game roadtrip with game two of a four-game series against the Las Vegas 51s tonight at 9:05 p.m. CT...Oklahoma City snapped a four-game losing skid with last night's win...The RedHawks finished the previous 12-game homestand 6-6...The RedHawks will follow the current four-game series in Las Vegas with a four-game set at the Tucson Padres...OKC is 24-33 in road games during 2011...Oklahoma City enter Thursday fourth place in the American Southern division, 17.0 games behind first place Round Rock, and 6.0 games behind third place New Orleans...Las Vegas are second place in thePacific Southern, 13.0 games behind first place Sacramento...
Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RedHawks LH Dallas Keuchel makes his Triple-A debut tonight, after spending the entire 2011 season with Double-A Corpus Christi (20GS, 9-7, 3.17 ERA)...Keuchel lost his last start on July 30 at Midland, giving up three runs and four hits over 6.1 innings...Keuchel also induced 14 double plays in 20 starts with Corpus...Keuchel is a Tulsa, Okla. native, and was selected by the Houston Astros in the 9th round of the 2009 draft out of the University of Arkansas...Las Vegas starter Scott Richmond (20G, 19GS, 6-9, 7.23) gave up nine runs and 11 hits in 4.0 innings last time out against Tacoma...Richmond made one relief appearance in Toronto on April 10 before moving to Las Vegas as a regular starter...Richmond has allowed at least one run in each of his appearances with Las Vegas and three or more earned runs in 14 of 19 starts...
Last Game: August 3- OKC RedHawks 7, Las Vegas 51s 6-- Brett Wallace was 4x4 with three RBI and led the Oklahoma City RedHawks to a comeback 7-6 win over the Las Vegas 51s on Wednesday night at Cashman Field...Wallace doubled in a run in his first at-bat, and later drove in the game-tying and game-winning runs with a ninth inning double...Recently promoted outfielder Jake Goebbert was 2x3 with his first Triple-A RBI...RedHawks starter Andy Van Hekken allowed six runs, five earned, with 13 hits over 5.2 innings without a decision...Reliever Douglas Arguello faced one hitter and picked up a winning decision...Farquhar gave up the ninth inning runs for the blown save and loss for Las Vegas...Five Las Vegas hitters produced multi-hit efforts, including three-hit games from McCoy and Loewen...
Wallace Four-Hit Games-- Brett Wallace came in with a bang in his OKC debut last night, going 4x4 with 3 RBI...Wallace's last four-hit game at any level came May 11, 2010 as a member of the Las Vegas 51s, when he went 4x6 with 4 RBI in a 15-10 Las Vegas loss to Iowa...Last night was Wallace's fourth career four-hit game at any level...
New RedHawk Expected Tomorrow-- P Henry Sosa is slated to make his first OKC start tomorrow night, and will be active on the RedHawks roster tomorrow...A transaction will be made tomorrow to make room for Sosa on the active roster...Sosa was part of the trade from the San Francisco Giants for Astros infielder Jeff Keppinger...
Hawks Clutch in Series Openers-- The RedHawks won another series opener last night, improving their record in series-opening games to 18-12...
