RH Guillermo Moscoso (7-5, 5.26) vs. RH Matt Torra (9-6, 4.14)

TONIGHT: The RedHawks look for their third straight win over the Reno Aces in the Game 3 of a 4-game set at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. OKC came from 1-0 down in the eighth to win 3-1 last night. The RedHawks are 4-2 on this 8-game homestand. They lead Albuquerque by 4 games in the division. Righthander Guillermo Moscoso gets the start for the RedHawks, his first since the previous road trip finale at Colorado Springs Aug. 11 when he allowed 2 runs in 7 innings.

DIVISION LEAD TO 4: With a win last night and Albuquerque's 4-3 loss at Tacoma, the RedHawks increased their American South Division lead to 4 games. The magic number to clinch is 17 with 20 games remaining. OKC, Albuquerque and third-place New Orleans have all had 1 game cancelled because of rain, so each will play 143 if all remaining games are played.

HARDEN, MADRIGAL SILENCE ACES: OKC beat Reno 3-1 last night, with all 3 runs in the eighth inning. The go-ahead and insurance runs scored on a Carlos Rosa wild pitch and a Carlos Corporan passed ball during Alex Cora's at bat with 2 outs. Rich Harden made his first rehab start during his current DL stint and struck out 10 Aces in 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 unearned run in the no decision. Coupled with a rehab start July 26 in his previous stint, Harden has consecutive 10-strikeout, 6-inning OKC starts while allowing a total of 3 unearned runs. Warner Madrigal retired all 9 batters he faced to get the win. Harden and Madrigal combined to set down the final 16 Reno hitters in the game.

LOTS OF STRIKEOUTS: RedHawks pitching (Harden, Madrigal) combined for 15 strikeouts last night, the most by OKC pitching in a game since Alfredo Simon (9), Francisco Cruceta (6) and Randy Williams (2) combined to fan 17 Round Rock batters at The Dell Diamond on July 20, 2007 in a 7-1 victory.

IRIBARREN ON A TEAR: Hernan Iribarren has hit safely in 7 straight (13-for-26). He also has hits in 12 of his last 13 dating to Aug. 5, going 22-for-49 (.449) in that span. Iribarren has lifted his batting average from .240 to .266 in the last 13 games.

DAILY DAVIS UPDATE: Chris Davis is third in the PCL in hitting (.347), behind the promoted Jay Gibbons of Albuquerque and league leader John Lindsey (.365) of Albuquerque. Davis is eighth on-base percentage (.404).

PITCHING LEADERBOARD: The RedHawks maintain the PCL's best ERA at 3.88. The RedHawks have allowed the fewest home runs (80) in either affiliated Triple-A league, 18 fewer than the closest team, Tacoma. The only team to have more than a 2-homer game against the RedHawks is Iowa, which collected a pair of 3-homer games and one 4-homer contest in the concluded season series.

TIME CHANGES: The RedHawks' game on Saturday, Sept. 4 has been switched to an 11:05 am start time (CDT). The regular season finale on Sept. 6 has been changed to a 1:05 pm start.
