
RedHawks conclude Homestand with More Givewaways

A pair of Giveaways, including the popular Bobblehead Doll, are among the promotions planned for the Oklahoma RedHawks as they conclude a 12-game homestand over the weekend. The RedHawks, who will be playing the Fresno Grizzlies in a four-game series beginning Friday, Aug. 15, have only eight home games remaining for the 2003 season.
Oklahoma (61-64) is in third place in the PCL East Division and trails Nashville (71-53) by 10 1/2 games. The RedHawks have just 18 games remaining. The season ends with a four-game series at home against Iowa. The final game is Monday, Sept. 1.
KKNG Classic Country will sponsor a Golf Cap Giveaway to the first 2,500 fans through the gate on Friday. Classic music memorabilia will be displayed and for sale on the concourse during the game. In addition, OHSO Autograph night is back with selected RedHawk players signing autographs from 6 to 6:20 p.m.
Academy Sports and Outdoors will giveaway 2,500 Bobblehead Dolls of former RedHawk star and current Texas Rangers outfielder Kevin Mench on Saturday.
The Country Crock Family Fun Day featuring the Sonic Kids Fest returns Sunday, Aug. 17. Fans can bring an original receipt showing proof-of-purchase of a Country Crock item and receive two-for-one admission. Inflatables and entertainers will be set up throughout the ballpark and kids can run the bases after the game.
IGA Hometown Kids Night will take place on Monday, Aug. 18. Kids can get free admission and a hot dog and a Coca-Cola product for $2 with their IGA Hometown Kids Card.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for all four games with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
