Redbirds Fans Receive Their 2018 Triple-A National Championship Rings on Friday, August 23

Memphis Redbirds News Release

MEMPHIS, Tennessee - On Friday, Aug. 23, the first 2,000 fans at AutoZone Park for that night's Memphis Redbirds game will receive a replica of the team's 2018 Triple-A National Championship Ring, courtesy of Terminix.

The ring, modeled after the rings the team received earlier this season, features the Music Note 'M' logo on the face with the words "National Champions" around it as well as numerous intricate details such as the City of Memphis skyline and pennants displaying the years the Redbirds won Pacific Coast League championships.

"This is some serious hardware, and we are thrilled our fans are going to be able to display it proudly with this giveaway," Redbirds President Craig Unger said. "Last season was historic and memorable in so many ways, and our fans were with us every step of the way. It's only fitting that they get a memento like this along with our players, coaching staff, and Front Office."

Fans can guarantee they get a replica ring, without having to be one of the first 2,000 fans through the gates, with a specialty ticket option that also includes a ticket to the 2019 Triple-A National Championship Game at AutoZone Park on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Tickets for the replica ring giveaway can be purchased at www.memphisredbirds.com/ring.

The 2018 Redbirds captured their first Triple-A National Championship with a 14-4 win over the Durham Bulls last September in Columbus, Ohio. The win capped an incredible season that also saw the club win its second-straight PCL championship.
