Red Wings Postpone Home Opener Saturday

ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings Home Opener against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Saturday, April 9 has been postponed due to forecasted cold weather and high winds, making the temperature too cold to safely play. Opening Day will now be Sunday, April 10 with a single game being played at 1:35 p.m. with gates opening at noon.

The following information relates to tickets and the 50-degree guarantee:

-All tickets dated April 9:

-Are considered Opening Day tickets regardless of when Opening Day is played.

-Will be honored on April 10.

-And/or be used as a Rain Check for equal value ticket to any remaining 2016 home game.

-All tickets dated April 10:

-Need to be exchanged for April 10 Opening Day (same seat not guaranteed)

-And/or can be used as a Rain Check for equal value ticket to any remaining 2016 home game.

-50-Degree Guarantee:

-All tickets dated April 9 can be used for the same seats on April 10

-And/or used as Rain Check for any remaining 2016 home game.

The game on April 9 will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, April 29 at 5:05 p.m.
