
Red Deer Rebels score 4-3 shootout win over Hitmen

Calgary, AB - Brett Ferguson scored in the shootout lifting the Red Deer Rebels to a 4-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen Wednesday night in WHL pre-season action. Cullen Morin scored twice for the Rebels including the tying goal with 48 seconds left in regulation time.
Cody Sylvester netted a pair of goals for the Hitmen while Baxtor Niziol added a single. Tyler Fiddler chipped in a pair of assists.
The Hitmen now get a few days off before continuing their pre-season schedule with a pair of games this weekend in Coleman. Friday they face the Kootenay Ice, Saturday the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
