
Red Deer Rebels Name Archer Captain

RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, President/Owner of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today that Colin Archer will be the team's captain this season. Prior to this announcement, the Rebels had four alternate captains with Archer, Luke Egener, Cullen Morin, and Brennen Wray.
Colin Archer is in his second season with the Rebels and was the team's 5th round selection, 88th overall, in the 2005 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. He played the majority of his minor hockey career in Red Deer, including a silver medal performance at the 2007 Telus Cup National 'AAA' Midget Championships with the Red Deer Optimist Rebels of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.
Luke Egener, Cullen Morin, and Brennen Wray will continue their roles as alternate captains.
