Sioux Falls, SD - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, got swept out of Sioux Falls with a 111-96 loss to the Skyforce Saturday night. The Red Claws (3-4) lost both games in Sioux Falls this weekend and have dropped three straight games. Omari Johnson led Maine with 17 points, while Coty Clarke added 13 off the bench. Jordan Mickey, on assignment from the Boston Celtics, scored 11 and added 6 rebounds and 5 blocks.

After a slow scoring performance last night in Sioux Falls, the Red Claws came out in the first half with plenty of offense. Johnson scored 12 of his 17 points in the first half, helping lead Maine to a 27-27 tie at the end of the first. Andre Stringer added 12 points off the bench, and Maine put up 31 in the second, taking a 58-55 lead into the break.

It all fell apart offensively for Maine in the 3rd quarter. Sioux Falls held the Claws to just 12 points, while scoring 29 and taking full command of the game. Jarnell Stokes, on assignment from the Miami Heat, led the Skyforce with 22 points.

The Red Claws were 12-21 from downtown in the first half, but just 3-13 in the second half.
