FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends took their third straight win over the Oklahoma City Blue 104-95 Saturday night.

Jamil Wilson set the tone for the night with an early alley-oop from Tu Holloway to grab the Legends first points and the lead they would hold through all four quarters. Brandon Ashley tallied 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in the first as the Legends went up by 14. The lead continued to grow in the second as Texas went up by as many as 21, but the Blue powered out five points in the final nine seconds to end the half 55-39.

Wilson and Holloway came out of the locker room firing with 10 points apiece but the Legends shot a mere 17% from outside as OKC ran the third 34-30. Still holding a 12-point lead, the Legends relied on a defensive punch to control the final minutes. OKC's Talib Zanna shot 4-of-4 for 11 points but the team was scoreless from outside and relying on a 30% field goal completion to overcome the deficit. With one minute remaining, the Blue faced a 12-point gap. Zanna hit the free throw line twice and dished a layup with seconds remaining to cut the difference to seven, but Wilson sealed the victory with two final foul shots improving the Legends to 3-2.

Jamil Wilson and Tu Holloway led Texas with 21 points and 7 rebounds each while Micheal Eric and Brandon Ashley each added double-doubles. Holloway also led the team in the assists category dishing out a season-high of 8.

Talib Zanna led the Blue with 30 points, 14 rebounds while Marquis Teague and JP Tokoto added 15 points each.

The Legends will hit the road for a double-header against the Santa Cruz Warriors December 4th and 5th at 9pm CT. Fans can catch all the action live at www.TexLegends.com.
