FRISCO, Texas - The Oklahoma City Blue fell on the road to the Texas Legends, 104-95, on Saturday at The Dr. Pepper Arena. Talib Zanna scored a season-high 30 points on 12-of-19 shooting alongside 14 rebounds to lead the Blue.
Dakari Johnson put together his third double-double of the year with 12 points and 14 boards. Marquis Teague scored 15 points with six assists and JP Tokoto totaled 15 points and seven rebounds. Dane Miller added 11 points off the bench.
The Blue fell behind after being outscored 27-16 in the opening quarter. Texas added to its lead in the second frame to hold a 55-39 lead at the half.
Zanna shot a perfect four-for-four from the field en route to 11 points in the third quarter as the Blue shot 65 percent in the frame and began to cut away at the Legends' lead. The Blue pulled to within seven points with 15.9 seconds remaining in the contest but a pair of Texas free throws halted Oklahoma City's comeback hopes.
Oklahoma City (0-6) pulled down 56 rebounds, including 27 on the offensive end.
Texas (3-2) was led by a pair of 21-point performances by Tu Holloway and Jamil Wilson.
The Blue plays three consecutive games at the Cox Convention Center beginning with Tuesday and Thursday matchups against the Idaho Stampede. Both games tip off at 7 p.m. with tickets available on OklahomaCityBlue.com.
