Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - As the Fighting Saints take the ice tonight against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, they will do so with a group of 730 Boy Scouts and their families and friends in the stands. The Boy Scouts come from twenty-five different troops throughout the Tri-State area, with the Scouts ranging in ages from 5 to 17 years old. The group of 730 surpasses last season's Boy Scout group of 523 as the largest to ever attend a single Fighting Saints game.

Over 200 members of the group will receive an especially memorable experience. In addition to their ticket to the game, they will receive a Fighting Saints souvenir mini-hockey stick, a hot dog and soda at the concession stands, a postgame skating session on the ice, a Fighting Saints locker room tour, an autograph session with Fighting Saints players, and a Boy Scout patch to commemorate the experience.

The puck drops against the RoughRiders at 7:05 p.m. The Fighting Saints expect the largest crowd of the season, so fans are encouraged to arrive early and make use of the free shuttle which runs before and after the game between the Mystique Casino parking lot and the Mystique Community Ice Center.
