
Rebels Trade Coward to Prince Albert

RED DEER - Red Deer Rebels Owner, President, and General Manager Brent Sutter announced on Tuesday that the club has completed a trade with the Prince Albert Raiders.
The Rebels have traded 20-year-old goaltender Chase Coward to the Raiders in exchange for a conditional fifth-round selection at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.
Coward, a native of Swift Current, SK, appeared in 45 regular season games with the Rebels after signing as a free agent in November 2019. He posted a 25-13-4 record, 2.66 goals against average, .904 save percentage, and two shutouts. Coward also posted four wins, 2.65 goals against average, .910 save percentage and one shutout in postseason play.
