The Rebels are hot as they enter the week on a four-game winning streak and with points in a season high seven-straight.
SAT. JAN. 13 - Captain Kai Uchacz scored his first hat trick of the season to lead the Rebels to a 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings as the Peavey Mart Centrium. Uchacz reached 25 goals on the season as he scored even strength, on a power play and into an empty net. Dwayne Jean Jr. scored an empty netter to run his point streak to three games. Chase Wutzke allowed just one goal against for the third game in a row. Red Deer outshot Edmonton 41-29 and was 1-for-4 on the power play while Edmonton was 0-for-5.
FRI. JAN. 12 - A two-goal first period would be enough for the Rebels in a solid 3-1 win over the visiting Tri-City Americans at the Peavey Mart Centrium. Carson Birnie scored 29 seconds into the game. Talon Brigley scored the eventual game winner late in the opening frame. Mats Lindgren scored a power play tally late in period two. Kalan Lind had two assists and Chase Wutzke earned the win in net. Red Deer outshot Tri-City 49-19 and was 1-for-4 on the power play while the Americans were 0-for-3.
WED. JAN. 10 - Samuel Drancak and Jeramiah Roberts scored 47 seconds apart early in the third period to lift the Rebels to a 3-1 win over the visiting Spokane Chiefs at the Peavey Mart Centrium. Frantisek Formanek scored for Red Deer in the first period. Ollie Josephson earned an assist to run his point streak to a career-high tying six games. Chase Wutzke made 24 saves for the win. Red Deer outshot Spokane 34-25 and was 0-for-4 on the power play while the Chiefs were 1-for-5.

It's a three-game week for the Rebels, including special event games at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
WED. JAN. 17 - The Rebels welcome the conference leading Saskatoon Blades back to town. The first 2,000 fans through the doors will receive a free lunch bag courtesy of Prairie Bus Lines.
FRI. JAN. 19 - The Rebels visit the Medicine Hat Tigers for a key Central Division matchup.
SAT. JAN. 21 - We celebrate Woolly Bully's birthday as the Rebels host the Prince Albert Raiders. Stick around after the game for a postgame skate and a slice of birthday cake in honour of the most popular mascot in the WHL!
WUTZKE WINS AGAIN
Chase Wutzke has been named WHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending January 14. The 2024 NHL Draft-eligible puckstopper went 3-0-0-0 in three straight starts, registering a 1.00 goals-against average and .959 save percentage. This marks the second time this season that Wutzke has earned Goaltender of the Week honours. He was also named WHL Goaltender of the Month for December. The 6-foot-2 netminder was selected by Red Deer in the second round, 40th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft. NHL Central Scouting has ranked Wutzke 13th among North American goalies in its midterm draft rankings.

In his third season with the club, Kai Uchacz is now one of the top ten leading goal scorers in Rebels franchise history.
