
Real Salt Lake & ESPN 700 to Host Watch Party at Green Street for Wednesday's Pivotal USA-Algeria Ma

SANDY, Utah (Monday, June 21, 2010) - Real Salt Lake and ESPN 700 are proud to partner once again with Green Street Social Club for this Wednesday's USA/World Cup Watch Party, as the popular Trolley Corners bar & restaurant will host a screening of the pivotal Group C finale between the United States and Algeria. The FREE viewing party at Green Street (602 East 500 South) - open only to fans 21 & older (no membership required) - will begin when doors open at 7:30 a.m. MT, giving fans of the Red, White & Blue 30 minutes to settle in and soak up the ESPN pre-match coverage before the 8:00 a.m. kickoff.
Green Street is once again opening its doors to soccer fanatics, who can enjoy the decisive contest on any of the restaurant's 34 televisions. Green Street will have a breakfast menu available for fans waking up early to make it down to Trolley Corners, featuring coffee & juices, $3 breakfast burritos and $5 plates of eggs, bacon & hash browns. For fans that want to stick around and celebrate the USA's passage to the knockout phase, Green Street will also be offering 24 oz. cans of Budweiser for just $2.50 beginning when the game ends at 10:00 a.m.
Everyone in attendance on Wednesday morning will have the chance to enter a drawing for an authentic adidas Jabulani match ball - the very same model being used on fields across South Africa during the World Cup. For those fans that can't make it down to Green Street, ESPN 700 will have you covered, as the English radio home for soccer in Utah will broadcast ESPN Radio's live coverage beginning at 7:30 a.m., featuring the veteran broadcast team of J.P. Dellacamera and Tommy Smythe on the call.
