
Dynamo's Craig Waibel Named MLS W.O.R.K.S. Humanitarian of the Month

HOUSTON, TX (Monday June 21, 2010) -- Houston Dynamo defender Craig Waibel was named MLS W.O.R.K.S. Humanitarian of the Month for May 2010, it was announced at MLSsoccer.com today.
Waibel and his fan club, Waibel's Warriors, hosted a Bald is Beautiful campaign prior to the Dynamo's May 29 game to help raise money for cancer research. The group urged people to shave their heads and pledge funds in support of the cause. This is the second season that Waibel's Warriors have held a fundraiser in support of cancer research.
The Dynamo return to Major League Soccer action on Saturday night after a three-week break, hosting the Colorado Rapids at Robertson Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at HoustonDynamo.com.
