Silver Spring, MD - Real Maryland FC will be conducting tryouts this Saturday, June 12th from 6:00 -7:30 pm at Richard Montgomery High School for Boys and Girls ages U8-U12.

The Club is currently seeking players with special quickness, confidence, self-discipline, heartiness & creativity to enjoy highly challenging youth-friendly training & competition.

Real Maryland FC is committed to player development, with: Quality professional training & coaching while creating a challenging, but fun learning environment. Premium practice and game fields such as Richard Montgomery High School Stadium are utilized allowing players to grow and trust their skills. All players are consistently challenged with players of like talent, ability and commitment level.

The Club's goal, at this age level, is to have fun with soccer excellence. Different attributes that are focused on are winning attitudes, respect, optimism, confidence and creativity.

Other mental attributes that are covered are team building, positional and personal outlook (how you see yourself and how you are seen on the field), goal setting and acceptance of pressure or the ability to handle difficult situations.

Playing time will be determined by attitude, ability & attendance. Positions are not assigned, but are taught as each player is encouraged to play as many positions as possible.

Real Maryland Football Club is looking for its future professional citizens. The Future Monarchs Training Academy will nurture, foster and develop strong playing skills and strong character. Through these attributes, players will be better prepared for the soccer field, the classroom as well as life's obstacles. Real Maryland FC's goal is to develop the community's youth into contributing members of society through soccer.

In addition to the U8 - U12 tryouts on June 12th, the new U15 and U17 Travel Teams will hold tryouts on July 27th at 7:00 pm at Richard Montgomery High School.

The U15 & U17 Travel Teams are coached by Roger Fernandez who is also the Coach of Real Maryland FC's Super 20 Team and Super Y League U17 Team. Both Teams have made it to the Super Y League National Finals under Head Coach Roger Fernandez.
